Snowflake tutorial with freebie examples included

Well it happened. It did snow a lot. I’m so excited. It didn’t start snowing hard until after I got home tonight but by tomorrow morning it should be more than just cold and wet, it should be white. My cute lil’ man thinks it’s great too. He was excited when I showed him it was snowing this morning. Tomorrow I hope there’s enough to make a snowman. I saw a picture on the Internet where someone had made a snowman standing on it’s head and I want to do that with him. How fun would that be? I can’t wait to do that. I’m going to go find some big buttons at the craft store to use on him too. I’ve never made an upside down snowman but I’m going to try. I guess that might mean that I have to set some housecleaning time aside and play in the snow for a bit. Well, it’s a sacrafice we have to make, right? lol!

I have 2 tutorials for you. This first tutorial is needed in order to do the next tutorial. I’m posting this tutorial tonight and I’ll post the second tutorial tomorrow for you. This tutorial will show you how to make a snowflake. They are easy to do and you can have so much fun with them. The tutorial I will post tomorrow will show you how to make snowflake lace.
I hope you like this tutorial and I hope you have a wonderful Saturday.
Hugs

these are terrific! thank you! have fun building that snowman! I’ve never built one – I grew up in Hawaii, and then moved to Vegas ten years ago – we don’t get enough snow.

    • I had a friend who grew up in CA (close to the beach) so every year they made a snowman in the snow. I laughed when I saw her pictures of it. It was a tradition. They would go down adn make a snowman right on the beach and use that picture for their Christmas cards. :)

I love the snowflakes! Housework doesn’t matter when you have a little one and it snowed!! I hope you can make the upside-down snowman.
