24 hours only – large bundle of stitched borders

Are you ready for the weekend? I have to say that I’m ready to have a weekend too. I have so many things I would love to do (of course I always think big but it doesn’t always happen) lol!.

I think I told you about the scanner mouse I got for Christmas. It’s really cool. You have a mouse that you use as your mouse but with a press of a button you turn it into a scanner. It’s not the best scanner, but it’s really great. Well, today I got a scanner given to me. This one is a wand scanner. I was so excited when they gave it to me. I haven’t used it yet because I have to go out a buy a micro sd card before I can use it. I plan on doing this as soon as possible so I can see how this works. I’m really excited (can’t you tell?) lol!

I have been playing around with stitches lately. I thought it would be fun to share them with you. I hope you like these. I have made 30 colored various stitched borders in one zip and in the other I have made stitched borders that are ready for you to add color to. I hope you like these stitches and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs

Very nice! Enjoy your scanner. I’ve got an all_in-one printer and I use the scan feature almost more than printing.

Thanks so much for sharing your great talents with us. I know that you will love your wand scanner. I have one that does color or black and white. I find that it works best on flat items. The trick is to learn to move it evenly down an item. I got a plastic grid for laying over photos and other things to make them easier to chart for counted cross stitch. I put it under the item that I am going to scan. It is large enough to have about half an inch of grid pattern as a margin on each side. It makes it so much easier to keep the wand straight as you scan. Fits into my laptop case quite nicely. I use my wand scanner when I am doing genealogy research and I don’t want to have to run to a copy machine all the time. It has come in handy when visiting family members that have photos that they will not let out of their sight and when libraries don’t have a working copy machine.
Make sure that you keep the white calibration sheet with your scanner along with the instructions… I have had to re-calibrate mine a few times in the 4 years that I have had it.

I made a tiny snowman… at 71 that’s about my limit for size and time…. came in with cold fingers and made a cuppa of hot choco….. mmmmmm delicious! Thank’s for the stitches.. they’ll come in so useful….

Love these, was looking for stitching borders as I can’t seem to make them myself. I got the same blocked message yesterday that the secure saver file was unsafe. Was downloading off of my daily email so hadn’t notified you of the error message. Came here instead today, same error message, then I went to the USendIt link, that’s slower but no problem. So I went and tried again through my Firefox browser and no problem. It seems that it is something from the IE browser. I use my scanner on my printer more than printing as I like to get rid of paper.

    • I asked an IT guy about this and he said that it might be something to do with your antivirus program. I know that I scanned my items again and they are fine. I don’t know why it’s doing that to you hun. I’m so sorry. I wish I knew why it’s doing it.

Me too; however, my Norton anitvirus does not do this with the Firefox browser so it doesn’t make sense that it is that program. It only happens with IE, perhaps IE and Norton don’t talk to each other.

  14. Jennifer says:

Love! Thank you. Have fun playing with your scanner.
