Good morning (or afternoon, depending on where you’re at). I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. We’re relaxing a bit after yesterday (even though there’s a bit more that should be done. But we’ll finish in bit). Right now my lil man has “Sprout” on the tv and is playing with our excersize machine. He refuses to let me put on something else though because (as he puts it) he’s doing both at once. lol!
I have first an announcement about a blog train I participate it. They would like some more participants. If you’re interested in joining go check out this blog for thier post. The blog train is hosted by Bits-n-Bobs. I love the colors for April. I am excited to be part of it. So if you’d like to join please go thier blog and sign up. It would be great to have more stops!
I also have a freebie for you. I’m working on a tutorial for extraction but I wanted to practice first. So, here’s a rose I extracted as a practice. I will have some more as I do the tutorial so please stay tuned!
I hope you like this freebie and I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs

Thank you so much! Will the tutorial be PSE friendly?
Yes, it will. From what I’ve been told the same tools I am using in PS are the same tools used in PSE.
Thank you very much for this lovely flower. I would like a tutorial on how to extract because I’m really not good at this.
I love this lovely extracted rose. Thanks
JJ, the rose is beautiful! You did a superb job of extracting and thanks so much for sharing.

This is a lovely rose and extraction. I have a few that needs to be extracted. When I try it the work is not smooth.
This is just gorgeous! My favorite flower of all! Thanks so much for sharing!
Oh wow this rose is amazing…. I can’t wait to see what you come up with for the tutorial… wow
this is beautiful! I cannot wait to see the tutorial, hopefully it’s easy for a PS newbie
Thanks so much, you’re the best!!!
The rose is just beautiful. I can’t believe you extracted it, it is so perfect. I would LOVE a tutorial on extraction. None of the ones I’ve tried are very good and I have so many things I would like to extract.
THANK YOU.
Beautiful thank you.
Wow.. this rose is a beautiful extraction! Looking forward to the tutorial!! Thank you!!
Beautiful rose, thank you
Hello Sugarbutt, thank you for the rose! A really good extraction in print quality means hard work. As I started with it, I thought I have to cry sometimes.
There´s a good trick In Photoshop to control the extraction: Activate a colored stroke style with 3px to the layer. Then zoom in to 100%. This helps you to see each and every little jaggies or strayed pixels or color fringe. After the extraction is readdy, you delete the style. Maybe this helps you too.
