Freebie – extracted rose (and blog train call for anyone who wants to join)

Good morning (or afternoon, depending on where you’re at). I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday. We’re relaxing a bit after yesterday (even though there’s a bit more that should be done. But we’ll finish in bit). Right now my lil man has “Sprout” on the tv and is playing with our excersize machine. He refuses to let me put on something else though because (as he puts it) he’s doing both at once. lol!

I have first an announcement about a blog train I participate it. They would like some more participants. If you’re interested in joining go check out this blog for thier post. The blog train is hosted by Bits-n-Bobs. I love the colors for April. I am excited to be part of it. So if you’d like to join please go thier blog and sign up. It would be great to have more stops! :)

I also have a freebie for you. I’m working on a tutorial for extraction but I wanted to practice first. So, here’s a rose I extracted as a practice. I will have some more as I do the tutorial so please stay tuned!

I hope you like this freebie and I hope you’re having a wonderful Sunday!
Hugs

Hello Sugarbutt, thank you for the rose! A really good extraction in print quality means hard work. As I started with it, I thought I have to cry sometimes. :-) There´s a good trick In Photoshop to control the extraction: Activate a colored stroke style with 3px to the layer. Then zoom in to 100%. This helps you to see each and every little jaggies or strayed pixels or color fringe. After the extraction is readdy, you delete the style. Maybe this helps you too.
