How’s your weekend going? We’re having quite the experience here. Our dog has figured out how to open the gate and she now sneaks out, opens the gate and runs down the road to play with the neighbors dogs. I put a wire in the gate to keep her in but she figured out how to pull the wire out too. I had to laugh about it. She seriously was trying to sneak out as quietly as she can (how quiet can an 80 lb dog be?) lol! So now she’s sitting in “time out” (she seriously is. I told her to sit in the time out area and she is looking at me just like my cute lil man does when he gets put in the time out area). Of course my cute lil man only stays in there for 3 minutes but I’m making my dog stay longer (well, mainly because I don’t want to chase her anymore) lol! At least she hasn’t learned how to climb over the fence. We had a neighbor who had a big dog that could climb the fence. I didn’t believe it was real until I watched him do it. I hope ours doesn’t learn that one. lol!
I made some crayons today. There are 5 various colored crayons. I wanted to share them with you. I hope you like these crayons and I hope your weekend is going great!

Thank you so much.
Thanks for the great crayons! Your story about your escape artist pup is adorable… Will there be doggie play dates in the future??
JJ not sure what type of gate you have but my small dogs would get out when the wind blew open the big gate to our back yard. I took a horse lead rope and tied it shut (safety tie that we use on horses, quick slip type style). The gate does not blow open and they cant push it open either (unless the kids uses the gate and doesnt tell me LOL). Now I just have to fix a few spots in the chainlink that are loose that they can dive under LOL
Great images.

Thanks for the crayons. Hope you find a safe way of keeping your dog in!!
Hello!
We use a bungee cord to keep both gates closed and easy enough for the utility employees to have access to my back yard. I had a wonderful dog who was so attached to me that she would be stuck like glue to me. If I was in the front yard and she was in the back yard she would climb the chain link fence but only so she could be near me. She never ran the streets. She once climbed halfway out the truck window when I was at a hardware store because she saw me. I didn’t think it was open far enough for her to get through and I was at the checkout counter when someone walks in and says if anyone owns a green Dodge truck your dog is hanging out the window. Man was my face red at that one. My current baby is a 14 month old Dachshund and she slides under the fence and loves to run the neighborhood. Bella keeps us on our toes but she can’t get out the gate with the bungee cord.
